Dear Future Student,

The staff at the International Academy of Magic are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted and enrolled as a student for the up coming term. Enclosed with this letter is a list of all the necessary books and equipment for a First Year student. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

International Academy of Magic

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1.Three sets of black work robes
2.One pair of protective gloves
3.Two winter cloaks
Please note that all pupil's clothes, books, quills, parchment, and, potion ingredients can be purchased with a school allowance from Morin Books, Quills, and Parchment, the Apothecary, and the SecondHand Store. All uniform clothing should carry name tags.

Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling

A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch

Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander

The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble

OTHER EQUIPMENT

Omnioculars
Magical Devices Kit
Potion Kit
1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2)
1 set glass or crystal phials
1 set brass scales
1 telescope

Students may also bring one pet of their own choosing.

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS, PERMISSION IS REQUIRED FOR USE OUTSIDE OF FLYING CLASS.
